个人简介：洪永淼教授为美国康奈尔大学经济学与国际研究讲席教授，教育部高等学校经济学类专业教学指导委员会副主任委员，厦门大学王亚南经济研究院和经济学院院长，教育部计量经济学重点实验室（厦门大学）主任，发展中国家科学院（The World Academy of Science for Advance of Sciences in Developing Countries，TWAS）院士，世界计量经济学学会（The Econometric Society）Fellow，莫斯科非线性动态推断研究院（Institute for Nonlinear Dynamical Inference, INDI）Fellow，2009年至2010年任中国留美经济学会会长，2018年入选东方网、美国侨报“中国留学生的四十年（40人）”代表人物。主要研究领域为计量经济学、时间序列分析、金融计量经济学、中国经济、政治经济学，在Annals of Statistics, Biometrika, Econometrica, Econometric Theory,，International Economic Review, Journal of American Statistical Association, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Royal Statistical Society Series B, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies, Review of Economics and Statistics和Review of Financial Studies 等经济学、金融学与统计学国际顶尖和主流期刊上发表论文70余篇；2014 - 2017年连续四年入选 “Elsevier中国高被引学者（经济，经济计量学和金融领域）”；任 Journal of Management Science and Engineering 领域高级主编，Book Series in Advanced Studies in Theoretical and Applied Econometrics主编，曾任 Journal of Econometrics 特邀主编等。著有《概率论与统计学（Probability and Statistics for Economists）》，《高级计量经济学（Advanced Econometrics）》，《中国经济学教育转型——厦大故事（Transition of the Chinese Economics Education: A Case Study of Xiamen University）》等。
